#634 Swiss M1867 Peabody Type IIThis is an absolutely top of the line Swiss Peabody entirely complete with all parts, sling swivels and original Peabody cleaning rod. The rifle is in superb condition, with barrel, receiver and rear sight still in rich deep blue and the un-blued parts, rod, barrel bands, trigger guard, breech block, lock plate and butt plate, in fading gray. The barrel and bore are utterly perfect. This is a highly collectible Peabody as the type II has the latter Swiss installed barrel with Swiss markings and is seldom encountered in North America. This is a stunning, beautiful Peabody.
