#691 Swiss M1889 Schmidt-RubinThis rifle is so very excellent that it makes more sense to simply describe its defects. It has a small gouge in the hand guard, just above the barrel band on the left side, and a few light handling marks. The butt plate is in the white and I’m thinking that it should still be blue, but this isn’t my area, so I’m not certain. It’s also dusty from storage. Of course, the bore is perfect. This rifle is damn near as nice as they get.
